Paris fixes official flat taxi fares from Charles de Gaulle: €56 to the Right Bank (rive droite) and €65 to the Left Bank (rive gauche), set by ministerial decree and identical around the clock, with luggage and tolls included — but you still queue at the rank. The cheapest route in is the RER B train to Gare du Nord or Châtelet at €14, roughly 35–45 minutes. By road via the A1 autoroute the centre is about 30–45 minutes off-peak, yet can stretch past 90 during Monday-morning and Friday-evening peaks or trade-fair weeks, while a private VIP fare is agreed in advance whatever the traffic. Note the Roissybus was withdrawn in March 2026 and CDG Express is not due until 2027, so late-night options thin out.
